Terms & Conditions

Check-in

  • From 16:00 to 23:00.
  • We operate contactless check-in and check-out, and there is no reception.
  • Your room number and self check-in details, including the key box code, are sent by Booking.com message on the evening before your arrival.
  • If you arrive early you are welcome to check whether your room is ready, and you may leave your luggage with us if it is not.

Check-out

  • By 11:00, with a complimentary extension until 12:00 on request.
  • A late check-out until 13:00 can be arranged for an additional £10, subject to availability.

Cancellation and Prepayment

Cancellation and prepayment policies vary according to accommodation type. Please check what conditions may apply to each option when making your selection.

Occupancy

  • All of our rooms are suitable for a maximum of two guests, excluding infants.
  • We do not offer twin beds in any of our rooms.

Children and Cots

  • Children of any age are welcome, and there is no age restriction.
  • A cot can be requested in some of our deluxe rooms, subject to availability. The Superior King Room is not big enough for one.
  • Please note that we do not provide cot bedding, such as sheets, a duvet or a pillow.

Smoking

  • It is a legal requirement that all of our rooms are strictly non-smoking.
  • For the comfort of other guests, a deep cleaning charge of £200 per night will be incurred if evidence of smoking is found.
  • Guests may smoke outside the House, or on the patio if staying in Room 30. Ashtrays are provided.

Quiet Hours

Please keep noise to a minimum between 23:00 and 08:00.

Housekeeping

  • Towels and in-room amenities are provided for your stay.
  • To reduce unnecessary disturbance and support our environmental efforts, housekeeping during your stay is offered on request only.
  • For fresh towels, or top-ups of toilet rolls, milk, coffee, tea or any other in-room items, just send us a message and we will be happy to arrange it.

In-Room Items

  • All rooms are checked after each check-out and before each new arrival to ensure that in-room items are present.
  • If you find any essential item missing from your room, please contact us. A charge will apply should any item be removed from the room.

CCTV

  • We use recording devices such as CCTV to provide safety and security for our guests.
  • These monitor the entryways and main communal stairways only, and are never used inside your room.

Lost and Found

  • The Log House is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest.
  • Any item found after departure by housekeeping, apart from perishable items, is logged and kept securely for collection for up to fourteen days, and records are retained for four weeks. We will make reasonable effort to notify you that an item has been found.
  • Perishable items, underwear and miscellaneous toiletries are discarded.

Other

  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Parties and events are not allowed.
